Covenant Faith Ministry Fuquay Varina, NC USA operates under the leadership of Pastor Bishop Dr. Phillip (Phil) E. Davis Sr. along with his wife, 1st Lady Dr. Gwendolyn C. Davis.

Pastor Davis has been at Covenant Faith Ministry - Fuquay Varina, NC USA for eight years. He accepted salvation in his early teenage years in the COGOP Liberty, NC. While attending college and several years afterward, his Christian life was filled with lack of commitment to any particular church. He recommitted his life to Jesus Christ circa 1978. As it turns out, this may have been a blessing in that he attended a Presbyterian affiliated school, has been a member of the African Methodist Church, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Rockville, MD, the United Methodist Church Chapel Hill, NC, Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Chapel Hill, NC, and returned to where he started, the Church of God of Prophecy in 2008 where he has been faithful. The result is that Pastor Davis is well positioned to minister to others about most any aspect of life, religion, and/or the Christian faith.

Pastor Davis worked in corporate America for over 30 years with General Electric, International Playtex Inc., and IBM where he retired after 22 years. His last assignment at IBM was Business Principal for the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Since his retirement, Pastor Davis has owned several businesses including; International Communications Systems, Rockville, MD; Olney Medical Supply, Olney, MD; Medical Supply Center, Chapel Hill; Davis Brothers Contracting, Chapel Hill, NC; and Christian Outfitters T-Shirts & Caps, Chapel Hill, NC.

Pastor Davis earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Johnson C. Smith University Charlotte, NC.; an Executive Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Wake Forest University, Winston Salem, NC.; and a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Christian Leadership from Christian Leadership University in Buffalo, NY.

Pastor Davis currently serves as a member of the Carthage (NC) Mural Committee; Middleton Place Board of Directors, Southern Pines, NC; and the North Carolina Church of God of Prophecy (NCCOGOP) Ministerial Review Board. He has also served as President of the Pinckney High School Alumni Association (Carthage, NC); Junior Achievement Volunteer; and as a member of the Governors Club Home Owners Association (Chapel Hill, NC).

Pastor Davis has been married to Dr. Gwendolyn C. Davis for 54 Years. During his private time, he likes to hunt, play golf and take day trips with his wife.
